Hand It Off. Keep Your Schedule.
Pool builders and general contractors: we install City-required tree protection hoarding to spec so your crew can stay on the work you’re paid for.
The fencing, done to spec.
- We read the requirements: your permit conditions, the arborist’s Tree Protection Plan, and the municipality’s detail.
- We build the right barrier: framed snow fence or plywood hoarding, at the height and setback the City requires.
- We mount the sign the City requires, where the City wants it.
- Repairs and removal are available, priced separately, if you’d rather not tie up your crew.

The rules change at the City line.
Toronto’s standard is 8′ plywood. Markham wants ¾” plywood screwed, not nailed. Burlington wants snow fence on a 2×4 frame with supports outside the zone. Vaughan can require heavy-duty hoarding. If you work across municipalities, getting each one right takes time.
To quote it
- Site plan or Tree Protection Plan showing the protection zones
- Permit conditions that mention tree protection
- Municipality and address
- Anything the City or arborist has asked for
Contractor FAQ
Do you work across the GTA and Niagara?
Yes. We install across Toronto, Peel, Halton, York, Durham, Hamilton and Niagara.
Can you build plywood hoarding?
Yes. We build whatever the City requires, including 4′ and 8′ plywood hoarding.
Can you handle removal at the end of the job?
Yes, after Forestry sign-off, priced separately.
Do you build to the arborist report?
Yes. We build what the arborist report states: the protection zones, the barrier type and any extra measures it calls for. Where the report asks for more than the City minimum, we build to the report.
Can you recommend an arborist?
Yes. If your permit needs an arborist report or Tree Protection Plan and you don’t have one yet, tell us when you get in touch and we’ll recommend an arborist.
Send us the job
Send us your permit conditions, site plan or arborist’s Tree Protection Plan and we’ll quote it to your municipality’s spec.
